Metro Hotel Seoul

October 26, 2019

Traveling with a baby is quite difficult when not well-planned. Anything could happen when things get uncomfortable with them or for us our daughter, Maya. We don't want her to get stressed-out so we can all enjoy our vacation. A happy baby means happy parents!

After a lot of research we came across with Metro Hotel in Myeongdong. It has a great review and the location was perfect for us. It is near to a subway, bus station and outside was full of restaurants. Aside from that, based on the  reviews, the staff are fluent in English. So, we decided to book this hotel.

Upon arrival in the hotel we were not disappointed with the reception. They speak English fluently and even gave stickers for Maya to play with. The hotel is just beside Starbucks and 711 on the other side. In fact, the hotel has an access door to these shops, what a treat! You don't have to go outside the hotel itself.

The hotel has 9 floors in total. They have amenities like The Clubhouse (where buffet breakfast is served), gym, laundry room, family room, terrace lounge, smoking lounge, playroom, pc corner and customer service office.

Breakfast buffet is served on 9th floor with a view of the neighborhood. What we liked most was that they serve porridge and soup for babies. They have high chairs, utensils and wipes for Maya. What a comfort! Add to that was the amazing view from the top while having delicious breakfast.

The terrace lounge is on the second floor where you can have coffee or tea or just enjoy the view outside.

What we liked the most is that they have a playroom. Maya had a good time playing with the toys.

We were glad to know that they have stroller for rent too so we rented out one during our stay there.

Maya enjoyed the comfort of her stay and us as well. We highly recommend this hotel if you are travelling with a baby. There is no doubt that we will book this hotel for our future stay in Seoul.
